Melaleuca Mulch

Description

Melaleuca trees are an invasive species in Florida and are a great replacement to cypress mulch. Melaleuca mulch consists of both the bark and the wood of the tree. As Melaleuca is an invasive species in Florida it’s much more environmentally sustainable than cypress which is being over farmed. Melaleuca mulch is actually much better for most bio-active and vivarium setups as it retains moisture for much, much longer while also adding nutrients to the soil and increasing humidity.
